I beheld evil as assailant sought to storm Jewish temple, rabbi narrates
A spiritual leader has recounted the moment when a person sought to break into his city Jewish temple during a deadly incident, remarking "I witnessed evil, I saw hate".
The cleric mentioned that he and others held the doors of the worship house as the attacker was "forcing the entrances, flinging heavy flower containers, attempting everything he could to enter".
Applauding the fast-acting of those at the worship center, he said: "I saw genuine heroism, I must declare, and individuals who rushed to assist other people rather than running away. It was remarkable."
