Chopper Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Beach
A helicopter hovering above a well-attended California beach unexpectedly started spinning out of control, ultimately descending rapidly and crashing into a cluster of palm groves as spectators observed.
Footage shared on the internet show the chopper beginning to twirl near the beach then falling near the perimeter of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palm trees and a staircase close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five individuals were taken to hospital involving two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the accident on that day.
Three persons on the pavement were harmed. Details on their wounds were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
